AppDynamics has announced that AppDynamics Pro is available as an add-on in the Windows Azure store, making it easier than ever to try and buy the leading monitoring solution for Windows Azure applications.

AppDynamics delivers complete visibility into how end user transactions execute across and inside every Windows Azure service, enabling customers like Toshiba America Business Solutions and Macmillan Publishers to find the root cause of slowdowns and outages in production.

“We are happy to announce that AppDynamics Pro is now available for download in the Windows Azure Store,” said Karandeep Anand, Partner Group Manager at Microsoft. “AppDynamics is a monitoring tool for distributed applications, and its ease of use and integration with Windows Azure make it an attractive option for large enterprises that are building new applications or migrating old ones to Windows Azure.”

AppDynamics Pro provides significant benefits to Windows Azure customers, including an improved experience for application end users, faster development lifecycles, and easy application migration to the cloud. In addition to these benefits, AppDynamics Pro provides:
* Automated discovery and topology mapping for all Windows Azure application dependencies and third-party services
* End-to-end transaction profiling of user requests
* Deep code-level diagnostics that help users understand and identify the root cause of slowdowns and outages in Windows Azure applications
* Agile release analysis so users can understand the business impact of production releases
* Seamless integration with any Windows Azure application through Visual Studio using NuGet

“AppDynamics is one of only a handful of application monitoring solutions that works on Windows Azure, and the only one that provides the level of visibility required in our distributed and complex application environments,” said James Graham, project manager at MacMillan Publishers. “The AppDynamics monitoring solution provides insight into how our .NET applications perform at a code level, which is invaluable in the creation of a dynamic, fulfilling user experience for our students.”

“There is currently an extraordinary acceleration in enterprises adopting the cloud, especially Windows Azure, for cloud-native development of new applications and migration of on-premise, legacy applications,” said Matthew Polly, senior director of global alliances at AppDynamics.
