IBM Cloud Marketplace Adds BlazeMeter Load Testing
BlazeMeter has announced a partnership with IBM that brings the power of its cloud-based load testing platform to the IBM Cloud marketplace. As of today, IBM clients can leverage BlazeMeter’s back-end testing service to run scalable load tests from 1,000 to more than 1,000,000 concurrent users and feel confident that their apps will hold up under high demand.
BlazeMeter significantly simplifies the performance testing process for Web and mobile applications, maximizing the speed at which development teams can gather valuable load testing metrics by offering the best options for scalability, cost savings and geographic reach. BlazeMeter, which is 100% compatible with Apache JMeter, provides developers with easy integration into their native development environment, realistic user simulation, advanced scripting capabilities and unlimited on-demand load testing capacity. It also allows for interactive real-time reporting, sophisticated result analysis and distributed testing across multiple geographic locations.
The IBM Cloud marketplace offers clients access to more than 100 SaaS applications, IBM’s Bluemix platform-as-a-service with its suite of composable services, the powerful SoftLayer infrastructure-as-a-service and IBM’s rich intellectual capital and deep industry expertise. This single online destination for cloud services enables business professionals to deploy new services faster; allows developers to build applications with greater speed; and offers IT departments more creative, efficient and lower-cost ways to deliver these services.
“In today’s increasingly app-based world, people expect to have instant access to data and information; and anything that falls short of that simply won’t suffice,” said Alon Girmonsky, founder and CEO, BlazeMeter. “That’s why it’s so crucial to ensure your mobile and Web apps will perform as expected – even under heavy traffic spikes – to provide a seamless experience for users across any device. And, now, thanks to our partnership with IBM, we’ll be able to provide greater access for developers to quickly and easily run load tests from the cloud and achieve that level of high-performing assurance.”
