New MuleSoft CloudHub Improves Enterprise Cloud Integration
MuleSoft announced a new release for its CloudHub integration platform as a service (iPaaS), with advanced security, reliability and scalability features that further solidify its lead in enterprise cloud integration.
CloudHub Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) offers the first network-level security capability for connecting an on-premise data center to an iPaaS, connecting cloud and on-premise applications together with the same level of security and performance as in a private data center. In addition, CloudHub Fabric provides high availability and disaster recovery for integration applications, ensuring reliable message delivery for mission critical and high-throughput use cases. As the cloud integration engine for MuleSoft’s flagship Anypoint Platform and built to meet the integration needs of the Global 500 and beyond, CloudHub has quadrupled customer adoption over the past year due to the massive uptake of SaaS applications and the resulting explosion of endpoints.
To streamline business processes and gain competitive advantage by connecting all their legacy, cloud and mobile endpoints, enterprises need a simple, reliable and scalable way to build, manage and run their integrations. The CloudHub platform is a highly available, multi-tenant and elastic integration cloud. The new features further satisfy enterprise requirements:
* CloudHub VPC enables all traffic to be routed between the CloudHub VPC and the corporate data center over an industry standard, encrypted IPsec hardware VPN connection. This allows cloud-based integrations on CloudHub to connect with on-premise applications with the same level of security as on-premise integration infrastructure.
* CloudHub Fabric provides high availability for integration applications running in the cloud on the CloudHub platform, offering reliable delivery of messages to ensure peace of mind in mission-critical deployments. CloudHub Fabric enables automated failover in the event of an outage, scalability for peak workloads, and dynamic load balancing to optimize performance of the platform.
